About COBE
COBE Bio(The Remix)
Born and still rocking out in Oklahoma, COBE’s story started with challenges that could’ve written a very different tune. Doctors told his parents he’d never see, walk, talk, or think on his own. But at the age of two, destiny struck a chord — on a Fisher-Price Lego piano, no less — when he banged out “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.” From that day forward, the keys became his compass, and he’s been composing his testimony ever since.
COBE may have eyes that don’t see, but his ears hear in perfect pitch and his heart beats in 4/4 time. With perseverance (and a serious groove), he grew into a self-taught, blind, savant musician who flips life’s stumbling blocks into steppingstones — and plays them in stride. Some people judge a book by its cover, but COBE prefers to let his keyboard do the talking (and trust us, it’s always in the right key).
When asked about his disabilities, he doesn’t miss a beat: COBE says, “I have them — they don’t have me.” And when it comes to style? Forget copying anyone else’s riffs — COBE is a stride musician marching to his own rhythm, unapologetically authentic. His performances are less about notes on a page and more about emotions on display — a sound that resonates deep in the eyes of the heart.
From backyards to big stages, COBE has shared the spotlight with local favorites, regional legends, and national stars including Terri Clark, Phil Vassar, and Heartland (yep, he’s officially Clark’d and loaded with experience). Whether it’s 20 people in a dive bar or 20,000 fans under the lights, COBE brings the same passion — one part heart, one part humor, all parts music.
Now at 30, he’s living the dream he started at 7, juggling multiple bands across Oklahoma and beyond. His mission? Simple: COBE says, "to embody rhythm, entertain the crowd, and prove that anything is possible when music tells the story and illustrates it."
Legacy in progress. Message loud and clear.
