Career Highlights

On Stage with Phil Vassar

Playing keys on stage with Phil Vassar was nothing short of a bucket-list thrill ride — literally. From roller coasters in Oklahoma to peaches in Georgia, it was pure Phil-good magic all the way. Back then, I was way too young to hit the road full-time (my trusty “MOM-ager” put the brakes on me quitting school to tour — thanks, Mom). Otherwise, I might’ve been a full-time Phil-in. Guess you could say I’m finally catching those vibes now, and honestly… it feels pretty Vassar-tastic. The cherry on top? Hanging with Heartland, who were opening the tour. So yeah, my résumé now casually includes: Played with Phil Vassar — from theme parks to the deep South. I’ll take it. Because sometimes, dreams (and gigs) really do come true.

Opening for Casey Donahew

Opened for Casey Donahew in Dodge City with the Jimmy Lee Jordan Band — and let’s just say, the only thing outlawed that night was standing still. They call Dodge City the Wild West, but the real showdown was on stage. Forget six-shooters — we came armed with six-strings (David knows how to shred), cowboy boots, and neon lights, and the crowd made some serious noise. Pretty sure Wyatt Earp would’ve traded his badge for a backstage pass. Legends of Dodge City: Wyatt Earp, Doc Holliday… and the night The JLJB opened for Casey Donahew and the rest is pure musical history.

On Stage with Terri Clark

Just casually spent the night playing a private show with the legendary Terri Clark, No big deal… except it was a VERY big deal. Turns out, sharing the stage with her in such an intimate setting felt less like a gig and more like the best secret party ever. Bucket list officially unlocked — and yes, it’s going straight on the résumé under ‘dreams come true’ (and maybe ‘humblebrags’ too). Some people host backyard BBQs… I’ll take private shows with Terri Clark any day. Plot twist: if any other national artists need a badass keyboard player, consider me Clark’d and loaded — ready to roll, tour, and throw down some keys wherever the road (or the rodeo) takes me.
